I guess this is a great opportunity! Is it alright to procedurally generate the textures drawn with GM's draw functions, save them as a file, and load them as texture to U3D? If only textures win out, you'll be stuck with a single 1x1 white texture and a bunch of render targets. So far, I think you're good with what you're planning to do. Hey, tomorrow's Friday! Anyway I used it with succes. Question! May you use a small texture for background generation, I use a gray 4x4 plane with 4 taints of gray for accentuation. Which I scale rotate blur blend and repeat. Edit, I just got my first procuderal texture ingame! credits mainly go to skarik, I only made the texture.
